How is it possible to do orthodontic treatment without physically seeing the Orthodontist?
Braces are tools that straighten teeth with wires. These wires have to be adjusted by an orthodontist every few weeks in order for them to work. Unlike braces, clear aligners, like Invisalign, have the tooth movements digitally built into the aligners, so there is nothing the doctor has to adjust. The doctor meticulously designs all of the tooth movements for a patient on the computer before treatment starts. A series of aligners are then made, and treatment begins. The series of aligners allow teeth to be moved closer and closer to their final positions with each successive aligner. So, the orthodontist never actually has to adjust the aligners, yet you get state-of-the art treatment, from the best provider in the region.
