Your First Visit

Trying to take your own dental impressions at home can be frustrating and inefficient. Our team always schedules free in-person consultations to assess your smile, answer any questions you may have, and take high-quality dental scans to begin designing a custom treatment plan and creating your new aligners.

The Invisalign process always starts with these dental scans! Using our iTero Scanner, your technician will run a digital scanner along the top, sides, and bottom of your teeth, which is a comfortable process that only takes a few minutes. A digital model of your smile will be created as the scanner works, and the result is high-quality dental scans and clear aligners that fit perfectly.

Want to see what your smile will look like once your treatment is complete? Our Outcome Simulators use these scans to create a digital simulation of how each individual tooth will be shifted until they finally reach their ideal positions. This software is an essential part of treatment planning, but it also allows you to get a better sense of what your teeth will look like during different stages of the treatment process.

Once your initial on-site visit is complete, Dr. Nelson will begin overseeing the process digitally — ensuring a smooth experience from beginning to end and giving you and your family time back in your busy schedules.

Financial Info

Concealing the cost of clear aligner therapy using smoke and mirrors is not our style. At My Virtual Smile, we provide a flat rate of $3,000 for every single patient, which is 60% less than the average cost of Invisalign treatment. We also offer and accept a variety of payment options to keep our services accessible and affordable for as many patients as possible. For financial questions or more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and our friendly and knowledgeable team will be happy to assist.

Dental Insurance

Got insurance? Our office accepts both in and out-of-network dental plans to help our patients save on the cost of their orthodontic care. Your benefits may not cover the cost of your treatment entirely, but many major insurance plans offer a significant amount of coverage for orthodontic treatment, so it’s worth checking with your provider to see what kind of coverage you may receive. Our team is also happy to file, track, and update insurance claims on our patient’s behalf so they can spend less time on paperwork and more time focused on their treatment.

We are in-network with many insurance providers, including Aetna, Anthem, Ameritas, any under Dental Max, Cigna, Delta Dental, EBMS Guardian, Lincoln Lineco, Metlife, Mutual of Omaha, National Elevator, Principal, UMR, Sunlife, Teamcare, United Concordia, Tricare, United Health, UNUM, and Westers Teamsters.

FSAs & HSAs

Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts are tax-free accounts that patients can use to save money for health and dental-related expenses. HSAs are owned by individuals, and contributions roll over every year, making them an excellent way to save up for orthodontic treatment. FSAs are employer-owned, and if your company matches employee contributions, an FSA can also be a great choice for funding your new smile.

CareCredit

CareCredit provides 6, 12, 18, and 24-month interest-free payment plans as well as longer plan options that patients can utilize to cover the cost of their treatment. These plans do not affect credit, and it only takes a few minutes to get approved, so you can apply for a CareCredit plan and be approved today!

In-House Financing

Some patients need to break up the cost of their care but want more flexibility than what third-party companies can provide. My Virtual Smile offers in-house financing, which can be used to divide our flat rate into payments as low as $150 per month. Interested in utilizing our in-house financing options? Please contact our office, and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have and set up a personalized payment plan that meets your specific budgetary needs.
